How does the MSDS Internet Wizard work?
You send us your MSDSs and we scan and index the MSDSs with common retrieval data, such as, product name, manufacturer, etc. The data is then converted to a format that is usable by the Internet. Once the information is uploaded to the Internet server, you and your employees will have instant access to the MSDSs via an Internet browser. Your organization will receive a customized domain name for the MSDS Internet Wizard to access your MSDSs. Furthermore, you will receive your MSDSs on a CD containing Safetec's popular MSDS Wizard desktop software. The software is generally used for back-up purposes, but it also contains powerful features, such as, high-level reporting, advanced search/sort, printing of full MSDS catalogs, MSDS request letters, and much more. When you receive new MSDSs, just send them to Safetec at a pre-determined time frame and we will continue to update and manage your MSDS library. Maintaining MSDS compliance has never been easier!

Why would I want to have my MSDSs on the Internet?
There are two main reasons why you would want to have your MSDSs on the Internet. First, most employees are familiar with retrieving documents from the Internet. Good Internet designed search engines make it easy for new and experienced computer users to retrieve a specific document. All of the instructions you need to retrieve an MSDS will be right there on the net. So finding an MSDS with be quick and easy for yourself and your employees. Second, there is no new software to install. Every computer which has Internet access will be able to instantly run the MSDS search engine directly from the Internet.

We don't have Internet access. Can I put MSDS Wizard on my Intranet?
Yes, MSDS Internet Wizard can be installed to your Intranet. Safetec also provides full MSDS management services with our desktop/network software application.
