What are the Requirements for MSDS Intranet Wizard?

The minimum system requirements for MSDS Intranet Wizard are:
- Web Server than can serve ASP pages, java scripts, and use ODBC queries. (IIS 4.0 or better, Apache with ASP Add-on, etc.)
- Minimum 200MB HD Space (3000 MSDSs is approximately 650MB)
- Pentium 233MHz or better (depends on the number of MSDSs and the number of terminals that would be accessing them at the same time.)

The reccomended system requirements are:
- Web Server than can serve ASP pages, java scripts, and use ODBC
- 1GB of HD Space (3000 MSDSs is approximately 650MB)
- Pentium 400MHz or better (depends on the number of MSDSs and the number of terminals that would be accessing them at the same time.)

The client requirements are:
- Web Browser that supports java scripts and ASP pages.

What are the requirements for MSDS Internet Wizard?

The requirements for MSDS Internet Wizard is a client machine that can view ASP pages through a web browser that supports JAVA scripts. Microsoft® Internet Explorer 4.0 or better or Netscape© 3.0 or better would work.

Visioneer Scanners Note: In general, any TWAIN compatible scanner will work the MSDS Scan Wizard software. In some cases, however, TWAIN scanners do not properly implement the TWAIN interface. Call Safetec's technical support department if you have questions about a specific scanner. Safetec does not generally sell scanners, but in some situations we will help facilitate the sale of scanners to our customers.

What scanners are compatible with MSDS Scan Wizard 5.0?

Any scanner with a TWAIN 1.7 compatible driver. Examples:

What do I do if I loose the Administrator password?

If you lose the Administrator password, it is still possible to login to the system at the highest level of security so the Administrator password can be changed. To obtain a username and password, please call Safetec Software's technical support department at 1-888-745-8943 ext. 2. Please be ready to give your customer number and company name to the support representative.
